Working PartiesTo develop and achieve our objectives we have set up working parties that have areas of particular
focus, these include: Relationships; Events; PR; Communications and Royal Mail Mailing House Scheme.
RelationshipsTo date we currently have agreements with the following partners: Oce; Pitney Bowes; Royal Mail; TNT; UK Mail and Xerox. Our partnerships focus on how we can work together on achieving our three main objectives.EventsOur working party are developing a series of breakfast seminars throughout the country with the theme on how to mitigate your environmental impact on your direct marketing campaigns through four main areas: Data planning; Creative Brief; Production and Distribution Channels. Look out for the future event details on the website throughout 2008 and 2009.PRThe working party has been developed to ensure that we use every opportunity to communicate into the wider arena relative and informative topics for the mailing house industry sector.CommunicationsThe working party are responsible for developing the Mailing House Council website, ensuring it is up to date and relevant to our sector. Future plans will include a vehicle to have a community area where members will have an opportunity to exchange views on topical and current issues facing our industry.Royal Mail Mailing House SchemeOur team are working closely with RM to ensure our members interests are communicated and protected. This includes ensuring the scheme is working effectively and delivering the principle objectives of compliance, best practice, training, continual improvement and environmental mitigation. Current focus is on improving OBA, mail verification, training and promotion of an accreditation mark. |
